1) Dulce Dulce is a small female cat that came to Vermont from Georgia 2 years ago. She is a victim of hurricane Katrina. Dulce is always around, never hides, and will eat from your hand. However she has a horrendous fear of being picked up. We at Francis of Assisi would love to see her in a caring family that would understand her fear, and help her to feel secure and loved as is.
2) Tucker Tucker is a 2-year-old
gentle grey giant. He has never growled or hissed, and gets along
beautifully with other cats and a German Shepard. Tucker is very shy.
He needs a quiet, loving home where he will feel secure - this will
help him loose his fear of being handled. He loves to play with
anything hanging from a string or stick.
3) Emmett Emmett is a nine-year-old male whose owner moved to a new home where cats were not allowed. He was about to be euthenized, when Francis of Assisi Society managed to place him in a foster home where he is awaiting adoption. He needs a forever home, and someone who can appreciate an older gentleman.
4) Cinnamon Cinnamon is a shorthair female orange tabby with white markings. She is still a little skittish and shy, but is gaining confidence every day.
5) Glorietta Glorietta is a spayed gray tortoiseshell shorthair, thought to be about 8 months old. She is an active, curious girl who is still somewhat untrusting of people. She has made good gains in sociability, gets along well with other cats, and is accustomed to being an indoor-only cat. She will need tolerance for initial shyness but responds to play with dangling toys and enjoys treats.
6) Kittens A1 - C-6
